Feudle is a fun, browser-based word game inspired by both the viral success of Wordle and the classic game show Family Feud. In Feudle, players are challenged to guess the most common Google autocomplete responses to a given prompt. Each day, a new prompt is presented, and players type in what they think are the most likely completions. The goal is to match the popular search queries that Google suggests.

How to Play

  1. Daily Prompt: Every day, a new incomplete search phrase is provided. This could be something like "Why do cats..."
  2. Guessing: Players input words or phrases they believe are the top autocompletes for the given prompt.
  3. Scoring: Correct guesses that match the actual top Google autocomplete suggestions earn points. The more common the suggestion, the higher the score.
  4. Feedback: After each guess, the game reveals which position, if any, the guessed phrase holds in the autocomplete list.

Strategy

The key to success in Feudle lies in understanding popular search behavior. Here are a few tips:

  • Think Broadly: Consider general, common queries that many people might have.
  • Current Trends: Sometimes, current events or trending topics can influence what people are searching for.
  • Common Concerns: Questions related to health, daily life, and common curiosities often rank high.
